Ralph "Bub" Hall Memorial Playground
Tucked into a clearing in the middle of some tall pines across from Wagner Ball Field on Tillman Road, is our little playground which was dedicated as the Ralph "Bub" Hall Memorial Playground on September 30, 2019. A big thanks to Councilwoman Casandra Buell for her hard work in obtaining grant funding to cover the cost of the project. Also, a huge thank you to the following for donating funds: Pratt Northam Foundation, Iroquois Gas Transmission, Beaver River Youth Advisory Council and Croghan Lions Club for the "lily pad" equipment donation.
You may recognize the goat mural from the Lewis Co. Fair in 2021 if you attended. Artist ARCY donated the murals to the Lewis Co. Chamber of Commerce. They thought it was fitting to have them displayed at local playgrounds within the County for all to enjoy.
We graciously accepted!
You will also enjoy a nice serene walk through the woods on the beautiful walking trails.
Please do try and be vigilant on keeping our beautiful playground and walking trails picked up, by utilizing the garbage cans located by the playground area and on the other side of the walking trails, near the entrance by 812/Tillman roads.
We take pride in our playground and walking trails and appreciate you doing the same :)
Thank you!!
